Listening to the Holy Spirit, the Voice for God within you, is central to the teachings of A Course in Miracles (ACIM). In the Preface of A Course in Miracles, Helen Schucman, the scribe of the Course, makes the following statement about the book:

The Voice for Love book was written by the Holy Spirit as a guide to help people learn step-by-step how to hear this Voice for God within them in a very clear and recognizable way.
