Donations are used to provide online resources, freely share books, CDs, and audio programs with those who cannot afford them, and provide scholarships for those who wish to attend workshops, retreats, or receive communication yet suffer from financial hardships. If an individual wishes to give to the general scholarship fund, their donations can be specifically used to help someone in need.
The Voice for Love Foundation can be named as a recipient in your will. Please speak with your attorney regarding this decision or visit http://awillfromtheheart.org for easy, inexpensive, online creation of a Will to leave gifts to family, friends, and charities. Individuals often choose to donate to organizations such as the Foundation— leaving cash, stocks, bonds, and personal property such as art work, books, and furniture. After probate court, the Foundation works with the executor or attorney for the estate to complete the contribution transfer.
There are a number of ways Endowments can be established. (We highly advise speaking with your attorney and remember to tell them that the Foundation is a non-profit religious organization.)
Funds can be placed in a savings account or CD and the interest is passed on to the Foundation while you, your family or company retains the principal in the account.
Royalties from book sales, movie sales, sales of art objects, music sales, video or DVD sales can be designated to be sent to the Foundation in your name.
Ownership (hence, profit) from Copyrights and/or Patent Rights can be transferred to the Foundation.
Appreciated stocks and bonds can be gifted to the Foundation with no capital gains tax due.
Profit making businesses (i.e. producing farmland, vineyards, ranches, commercial businesses) can give yearly profits to the Foundation.
